I got this after I was told I wasn’t allowed to do what I want and be with who I want to. So I did. The birds symbolize my freedom. (and the effect they have as a tattoo is just stunning to me, I’m so happy to have them.) And I love cats. Black cats in particular. This is my forever reminder to never look back and remember that you always have a choice.
I got it done at Article 91 in Houston, Texas by Jason. He was so comforting throughout the process of my first tattoo and I’m absolutely happy with it
